Movie review: Friday
Friday is the story revolving a set of gang rivalry, cops and how the innocent get involved in circumstances beyond their control, leading to a chain reaction of violence. A young man is injured in the cross fire of a gang War. But before you know it, he turns against the very man who saved his life and protected him. Why has he turned against his protector? What is the backstory of these people which has led to this situation? The film has an intetesting premise about violence breeding more violence leading to war across generations. But the manner in which the screenplay runs makes things appear a rad repetitive. There are many characters running around, with various names and one doesn't get a real chance to connect to most, except a few which Mahesh for tedious viewing.
