Movie Review : Gandhi Kannadi
Kadhir ( Kpy Bala) and Geetha ( Namita Krishnamurthy) run an event management agency. One day Gandhi Mahaan ( Balaji Sakthivel) a security man, approaches them to conduct a grand renewal of vows ceremony for his beloved wife Kanamma ( Archana) on their wedding anniversary. The cost of such a large event is hefty, far beyond his means. It is then that Kadhir discovers that Gandhi is actually a rich landowner, who had left his family after marriage. Through one property, Gandhi manages to get the required amount. But just when things seem to be going right , something happens that renders their dreams almost impossible to realise. What happens next? The film is a warm, slice of life movie, highlighting the significance of relationships, at every stage in life.
