Movie Review : Game of Loans
Daniel ( Nivas Adithan) is an unemployed father of a five year old, looking for a job while his wife Janet (Ester Noronha)l is looking after the family. She is fed up with his irresoonsible ways and his online gambling addiction. One day, 2 credit recovery agents (Abhinay Kinger and Athvik Jalandhar) enter his home and threaten him, when he is alone, demanding repayment of his huge loan running into lakhs, taken from an online app. When they find that he has no assets to repay his gambling loan, they suggest a sinister resolution that stuns Daniel completely, putting him in danger. What is the solution suggested by the agents? Does Daniel manage to pay back his debt? What danger does he fund himself in? The movie deals with the evils of online gambling addiction, seeking to showcase the ill effects of the malaise in society and for that, the team deserves kudos.
