The film moves between the present and the past.  In the present day, a young man ( Richard Rishi) due to a series of events, finds that a long  lost  temple deity  is  connected to happenings 700 years ago when  King Veera Vallalar (Natraj)  helped a younger king Veera Simha Kadavarayan ( Richard Rishi) from a nearby kingdom, to fulfil certain duties as a protector of his people. Their life journey involved crossing paths and swords  with  the  Sultan of the Madurai Sultunate and  Tughlaq (Chirag Jani) from the Delhi Sultanate.  Karthik ( Ridhaan Krishnas ) is a goat fighter aka  keda jockey with the winning ram. He prides himself on winning the campionship every year.  One day, Ramar ( Yuvan Krishna ) , a share auto driver challenges him to a fight with his ram. Karthik sees this as an affront to his dignity and is further enraged when Ramar's ram wins the title. This sparks off a series of longstanding enemity between the duo, leading to life threatening situations and suffering for Ramar. Does the rift between them ever get resolved? Who wins in this war between the jockeys? The film highlights the keda fights sport allegedly practised in certain  parts of the state and does so in a detailed fashion. The team of actors seem to have worked hard to train with the rams and their camaraderie seems to show on screen. While the first story is about fan wars, the second one features a father and rebellious daughter relationship. The third is a futuristic love story.   Celebrated filmmaker and actor K. Bhagyaraj, marking an extraordinary 50 years in the film industry, met members of the press last week on the occasion of his birthday.  During the interaction, PROs Diamond Babu, M Singaravelu and Riaz K Ahmed, felicitated K. Bhagyaraj by presenting him with a shawl as a mark of respect. K Bhagyaraj also posed for photographs with the journalists who attended the event. Addressing the gathering, K.  Director Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi hit screens on 10th January. The film is based on the TN students anti Hindi imposition movement in the 1960s. The story revolves around a student, Chezhiyan (Sivakarthikeyan) who starts an agitation against Hindi imposition along with co-students, on one dark night on the railway tracks.
