Movie Review: Arivaan
Surya ( Ananth Nag ) is a cop investigating a series of strange murders which happen just a few days after his new transfer to Neyveli. His father-in-law to be also dies suddenly, leaving his You Tuber fiancee Vinisha ( Janany Kunaseelan ) in distress. To divert her mind, Surya gives her some case related details to verify. In the meantime, upon investigation, Surya discovers an important clue to the identity of the killers. But this also puts his fiancee's life at great risk. What does Surya discover? How does it affect Vinisha? What was the motive behind all the events? The film by director Arun Prasath has a social message about an important issue that is often pushed under the carpet and for this the makers deserve kudos. The cast is well selected and each actor does a neat and convincing job right down to the supporting actors.
