Directed by debutant Saju Sundar, the film deals with the plight of unsuspecting victims of home made adult videos which find their way to the Internet. Akriti plays one such homemaker who succumbs to the demands of her husband to pose in the nude for his home video. For the Mumbai based model, doing  risqué scenes in the film didn’t come easy. “I went for the audition of this film in Mumbai. Though it was in Tamil, which I was not familiar with, Saju Sundar told me he liked the way I could emote with my eyes. After the audition when he told me about my role, I was taken aback completely. I decided not to do the film since I was not comfortable with the bold scenes required from me,” says Akriti. Bofta Mediaworks  started the shoot of thier Kaatrin Mozhi with a pooja.The film is a remake of Vidya Balan's Tumhari Sulu ( Hindi) with Jyothika reprising her role in Tamil. Filmmaker Radha Mohan’s magnum opus with Jyotika titled ‘Mozhi’ was one of the breeziest entertainers of its time. The duo come together again nearly after a decade for Kaatrin Mozhi, which is a remake of hit Hindi film Tumhari Sulu with minor changes to suit the local flavour. G Dhananjayan, S Vikram Kumar and Lalitha Dhananjayan of BOFTA Mediaworks India Pvt. Ltd are producing this film. The shooting of this film commenced on  June 4th with the ritual pooja held in the presence of the cast and crew. Actor Sivakumar and Suriya graced the occasion of the movie launch. Actor Sivakumar gave the first shot with the clapboard and Suriya switched on the camera. The shooting will be held in a sing le stretch schedule in Chennai for 50 days. The actor, who is a Chennai girl, tells you proudly that she has dubbed for herself in Tamil. Staying for 25 days at Thirukovillur for the shooting opened up a new world to her she says. " I was very excited since its my first film. So I never found it tedious even though it was a remote location. After shoot, fans used to throng the place to meet Vijay Antony sir.  I was thrilled to see thier love for him," she says. Diana was impressed with the multi-facted Vijay, " He is a muti-tasker. After shoot we would all be tired. But he would sit down and start editing the days footage immediately. He even fell seriously ill during shoot and one time he couldn't when get up from the bed. After the success of Aval ( Tamil) , actor Andrea Jeremiah is in a happy space. She is currently back under the arc lights shooting this time with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan for the last stint of his magnum opus, Viswaroopam 2. The heroine tweeted her look in the film which is being shot at the Officers Training Academy ( OTA ) in Chennai. Andrea can be seen in military gear along with Kamal. Ulaganayagan too had tweeted how happy he was to be shooting at the prestigious OTA which he said is the only academy  in the country   where lady army officers are trained.

Close on the heels of the recent release of V Creations' Indrajith, directed by Kalaipuli S Thanu's son Kalaa Prabhu, comes the launch of the comic book on the film which stars Gautham Karthik, Sudhanshu Pandey and others. The comic book was launched on Monday 27th November, by actor and comedian Vivek amidst a bunch of eager children, who recieved the first copies from Vivek. The director was present on the occasion along with members of the crew. On the occasion, Vivek highlighted how important it was not to pressure children with comparisons to others and to let them grow to follow their own dreams, based on their aptitudes. Also present were forensic expert Dhananjayan and debut editor Shivanandeeswaran Speaking about his experiences on the occasion, hero Karthi said, "When police officers expressed their happiness on seeing  this film,  I felt content that we had been able to highlight how much effort the police put into thier work which often goes unrecognised by us as citizens. Its only  passion for thier job that could have made the original cops on whom this story is based,  do what they did so far away from home ...

Actor  Namitha was all smiles and emotion filled as Veera tied the thaali at a wedding  ceremony today on the morning of 24th November. The function began with a traditional puja at 5am at the ISCKON  temple at Tirupathi and the sacred thaali  was tied at 6 30 am in the presence of close family and friends. Namitha was resplendant in a blue sari and later in a beautiful pink-red golden- hued silk sari, replete with traditional jewellery. Around 10 family members of the bride flew down from Mumbai for the ceremony. Veera was accompanied by over 40 of his family members. The couple were blessed by Sarathkumar and Radhikaa, close friends of Namitha. Apparently Namitha wanted to keep it simple and share this momentous occasion with few close friends.
