But there was a deadlock between producers, exhibitors and leading Digital Service Provider, Qube Cinemas, over Virual Print Fees (VPF), which was deemed too high in the present post lockdown era. This tussle was a deterrent for  new releases.  The good news is that in the best interests of the industry at large, the issue has however now been resolved.  An agreement has been reached between all  parties concerned. This means that new films can now be released with greater fiscal ease, for an already cash-strapped industry reeling under financial budens due to the lockdown. A press release from the TFAPA  reveals the details as follows: "Tamil Film Active Producers Association (TFAPA), Qube Technologies, Tamil Nadu Theatre & Multiplex Owners Association (TNTMOA) have been negotiating on the VPF charges for the last two months....

The duo were home in time to celebrate the post Diwali festival of Bhai Dooj also known as Bhai Tika and  Yama Dwitiya.  The day is an important one for brothers and sisters, for celebrating and strengthening their bond.  It follows the Govardhan Puja, which is a d ay after Diwali.  For the newly- wed couple, both celebrated with their respective siblings. Gautam's sister Gauri Nayar spent time with her brother along with her husband Nitin Nayar, and little son Kabir.  Later, Kajal dressed up and visited her cousins,  spending time with her cousin brother Vikram Aggarwal and his family for bhai dooj. The latest actor to tweet his admiration is Tollywood hero Vijay Deverakonda. The actor saw the film with his friends and was completely bowled over. Three of his big gang of boys  even cried during the film.  Deverakonda tweeted, "# SooraraiPottru #AakaasamNeeHaddhuRa -Watched it with a big gang of friends, all boys, 3 of them cried, I was just raging through the film and fired up to see the outsider make his statement 🔥 and a statement was made!"  Deverakonda himself being an outsider who made it big in the film industry could perhap relate to the lead character  and be fired up  with him succeeding against all odds. The film is  directed by R. Kannan . Out of the 3 roles, one is of a  Rajput, of nearly 30 minutes of the film, shot in Ramojirao Film City.  Santhanam has learnt  Kalari for few scenes. Tara  Alisha Perri , female lead of A1 and Miss Karnataka title winner  Swathi Mubbaala  are the female leads. Sowcar Janaki,   Anandraj, Mottai Rajendran, Sivashankar, Lollu Sabha Fame Manohar are part of the cast. The film is being released by Trident Arts.
