  The film revolves around a family in a village,  headed by Charlie who plays the father to two kids, and who has married again.  The step mom is not loving to the kids and has a baby of her own to take care of.  However,  the children have a loving grand mother who showers them with care.  The family is burdened with debt. As the parents leave home to toil in the fields to pay back the debt, the two kids are left at home with their grandmother. As danger of being evicted by the moneylender ( MS Bhasker) looms large, another misfortune befalls them, when the young boy loses his stepmom's gold ring. What happens next? Samuthirakani plays Veeraya, a physically challenged single father, ekeing out a living somwhow, but blessed with a bright little  boy Raju ( Master Dhruvan), who is good at studies and has a devouring  passion for aetoplanes. He dreams of becoming a pilot. The doting dad is heartbroken when he child is diagnosed with a terminal disease. With just a few weeks to live,  the father now wants to somehow fulfill the desire of the child to travel in an aeroplane. But his low income and piling misfortune make this dream seem impossible.
