by Rinku Gupta The ambitious task of remaking Queen  ( Hindi)  simultaneously in 4 South Indian languages is no easy one. However, now,  the makers have announced that the second and final European schedule is now complete. Featuring Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannah Bhatia, Parul Yadav and Manjima Mohan in the lead roles the 4 movies are expected to release this October. Titled Paris Paris, Butterfly, ZamZam and That Is Mahalkshmi and directed by Ramesh Aravind (Tamil & Kannada), Neelakanta (Malayalam) and Prasanth Varma (Telugu) the films feature music by Amit Trivedi. All the songs have been recorded and shot. Choreographers Bosco-Caeser and Ganesh Acharya have shot the songs. Producer Manu Kumaran stated that he was extremely happy with the quality of the footage and was excited about the 4 very different versions. Press Note: Jyotika, the protagonist of the Tamil film Kaatrin Mozhi completed the film in a start to finish single schedule. The film commenced shooting on 4 th June and went on without a break and she completed her portions on July 25, 2018. The film is a remake of the super hit Tumhari Sulu in Hindi, which starred National Award winning actress Vidya Balan. Writer-Director Radhamohan, with whom Jyotika gave a super hit Mozhi a decade ago,  has tweaked the story a bit to suit South Indian sensibilities.The film is a romantic comedy starring Jyotika, Vidhaarth, Lakshmi Manchu, Kumaravel, M.S.Bhaskar, Manobala, Uma Padmanabhan, Mohan Raman and many others. The  film is touted to be a comedy of errors revolving around a miserly don who wants to take over where his father Don Ranga and grandfather  Don Linga left off. He wants to get back the wealth thry squandered, especially a cinema hall that they lost. But does he succeed or end up as 'problem dons' like them is the story. For Sethupathi the long dialogues, change of gear from India to France, from local to global don, are child's play. From what we hear, the character of Mohini uncovers some very incriminating evidence of an international racket involving crimes against children which include child trafficking and human sacrifice, which incurs her the wrath of the villain. With crimes against children being rampant all over,  the presence of this issue in the film gives it a very topical  relevance. Shot majorly in London, the film has some very interesting stunt sequences  by Trisha. Prince Pictures  is producing the film.

According to sources, the shoot will soon re- commence in the beautiful foreign locales of Ukraine where the unit is headed. Cameraman Velraj and editor Ruban are part of #Karthi17. After thier dream run with the hero in Kadaikutty Singam exoectations are high that their magic will be  re-created in this film directed by Rajat Ravishankar. Harris Jayaraj is composing the music . Now the latest buzz about the flm is its release date. The sense of unity and joy amongst the  entire, large cast and crew gathered exuded a feeling of a family reunion  to the event. by Rinku Gupta Watching the Karthi starrer, director Pandiraj's Kadaikutty Singam, one couldn't help but notice the several ways in which the director has subtly added a sprinkling of elements of the rural way of life , thereby immersing the viewer into a different visual experience and bringing alive  the rural flavour. This could be one of the major reasons why the film has appealed to people in such large numbers. ( Recently in one theatre screening the film, fresh  coconut water was sold alongside other refreshments, in keeping with the spirit of the film perhaps! ) For instance, in several frames when you see a woman  character in the film, she is  engaged in farming activity of some sort, which is not usually seen our films. Resplendant in a black and red ensemble, she sent the photographers into a tizzy with the unique photo op at the event. Interacting with the  media she seemed both excited and at ease at the release of her film this week. Produced by Prince Pictures the movie is releasing on July 27th and is directed by R Madhesh. A visibly excited Trisha said, "This is my first dual role. I play Vaishnavi and Mohini in the film which is a horror thriller. Around 85 percent of the film has been shot in London.
