With Dolph Lundgren in the title role, He-Man: Masters of the Universe (1987) was the first live action feature film following the first animation film of the franchise by Mattel, The Secret of the Swords (1985).  The theme was set around two teenagers who meet He-Man the most powerful man in the universe, who travels to Earth with his friends, Man-at-Arms and Teela, to stop their enemy, the evil Skeletor from obtaining a cosmic key that will enable him to take over their home planet Eternia and the entire universe. Cut to 2026, directed by Travis Knight, we have  He-Man: Masters of the Universe ,the second live-action feature film based on the Masters of the Universe by Mattel.  Peddi ( Ram Charan) is a young man who hails from a remote mountain village which has no access to any sort of transport. The villagers have to travel to and fro to work undergoing an arduous journey through jungles and so can only visit their families once in few months.  Peddi, who is inspired to change this situation for his people, turns into a man with a mission, under the umbrella of sports, undeterred by the cruel hand of fate, several physical, emotional and financial setbacks that life metes out to him.  How this one man turns his fate around, serving as an inspiration to generations, is the story. Does he succeed?  The film is grandly mounted and the vastness of the canvas comes through, be it in scenic locales, grand sets, moving across cities and climbing through jungle terrain, the film has it all and serves to keep the viewer hooked to the story.
