Movie Review : Mudharkanal

 Surya ( Arvind Viswanathan) a young student from the city, is taken by his father to his native village where he meets Pandi ( Rajesh). Pandi's mom, a widow is the schoolmate of Surya's father.  Pandi doesnt like studies unlike Surya and has a difficult relationship with his mother, unlike Surya who is studious and comes from a loving family. But the duo become good friends. During his stay, Pandi induces the drug habit into Surya and soon this begins to destroy his relationship with his little sister and parents when he goes back home.  He soon becomes a total addict leaving his parents distraught. What happens next?  Is he ever able to get over his addiction? The film gives a good insight into young minds and how youngsters can get addicted to drugs in todays world where things are easily available. A thriller, I Nobody revolves around Rajeevan (Prithviraj) a middle class man,  and his family.  One day, when he walks into a bank,  he inadvertantly becomes part of a heist, taken hostage as the robbers escape with him blindfolded, along with the loot. On the way, there is an accident. The looters die, but Rajeevan survives. That's when his ordeal intensifies, as, now he becomes a suspect in the eyes of cops, since the loot money, last seen in the car, is now missing.  This incident turnshis world upside down.  Idhayam Murali is a coming-of-age breezy romance drama. At the heart of the story is Idhayan ( Atharvaa Murali) who from his young days, had a problem at expressing his emotions. Be it when he has a crush on a girl in tuition class, Samantha ( Preity Mukundhan) as a teen,  or later to Amutha ( Kayudu Lohar) when in college.  He has however, his cushion of  childhood and college  friends (Thaman, Niharika NM, Parithabangal Sudhakar, Angelin, Rakshan and Dravid) to tide him over heartbreak over the years.
