Double Menaing Productions’s “Maayon” starring Sibi Sathyaraj which had its worldwide theatrical release last year became the cynosure of film lovers and critics, who appreciated its unique content with good entertainment values. The film won the hearts of audiences beyond the boundaries. From its inception of vigorous and innovative promotions to the riveting theatrical experience, the audiences celebrated the movie wholeheartedly. 

Maayon stands out to be an unparalleled Tamil movie, for it has kept the excitement and expectations unfading among the buffs, even a year after the film’s theatrical release. The film went on to create a huge sensation in the global panorama by winning international acclaim which includes the ‘Best Mythological Movie Award’ at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival held in Canada. 

For the ones, who missed the theatrical experience, the long pursuit of ‘OTT release’ finally comes to an end, as it gets premiered on Prime Video via Prime Video Direct from today. 

From the scintillating plot, engrossing screenwriting, and stellar performances of the actors to the outstanding musical score by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, ‘Maayon’ etched a deep impact among the audiences. 

Maayon is produced by Arunmozhi Manickam of Double Meaning Production, who has written the screenplay for this film, directed by N. Kishore.  Sibiraj and Tanya Ravichandran have performed as the titular characters in this movie, which has an ensemble star cast comprising K.S. Ravikumar, Bagavathi Perumal, Hareesh Peradi, and many others. 

Maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has composed music for Maayon that features cinematography by C. Ram Prasad and editing by Ram Pandian & Kondalarao. 

The film features three songs performed by talented artists. Ranjani Gayatri is the renowned vocalist behind the enchanting devotional melody "Maayonae Manivanna," accompanied by Srinidhi Sriprakash, who delivers a captivating Krishna Bhajan. Their rendition of these divine songs showcases their exceptional talent and brings forth a beautiful musical experience. Furthermore, Srinisha Jayaseelan and T.K. Karthikeyan lend their voices to the romantic ballad "Thedi Thedi," adding an additional layer of beauty to this musical masterpiece.
