 Arun Matheswaran's DC marks the debut of director Lokesh Kanagaraj as a hero. Devadas ( Lokesh Kanagaraj) undertakes an armed robbery stealing guns from a cop vehicle with his gang of four friends. This inadvertantly gets linked to the killing of an innocent passerby by the same cops who steal a big sum of money from him.  When Devadas finds out, he feels responsible and vows to get back the money,  which was for the deceased's son's education. This leads to a chain of events that suck in the gang further into grusome crimes.  A posse of cops gets assigned to crack this case and rein in the leader, Devadas. Now, Devadas and his gang are forced into hiding and on the run for a few days. But when cops catch up with them, all hell breaks loose, leading to the death of a young singer (Sanjjana) whom the loner Devadas had befriended. What happens next? Does Devdas avenge her death, and  complete his mission to help the young  boy? Or do the cops bring them all ...

Veera ( Ashraf Ali) is not inteterested on his father's ( Naren) business. Instead, as a photographer,  he has been roaming the world to pursue his passion. But when his father insists he joins the business, he asks for some more time. For he has am important dream to pursue, and that is to explore the mystery of the forests if  Mathikettan Solai in the hills of Kodaikanal. He sets off in search of a golden tree that his mother had described to him in childhood, in order to photograph it. But setting foot into the forest, despite all warnings of the dangers of the mysterious forest by the villagers, that too all alone, proves more than he had anticipated.  What happens to Veera in the forest? What dangers does he encounter? Does he survive the journey? Does he find the tree?
