Malavika Mohanan joins Dhanush’s D-43

Sathya Jyothi Film’s forthcoming venture tentatively titled ‘D-43’ starring Dhanush in the lead and directed by Karthick Naren has signed on performer Malavika Mohanan as the female lead.



Producer TG Thyagarajan, Sathya Jyothi Films says, “We at Sathya Jyothi Films are happy to welcome Ms Malavika Mohanan on board for D 43. Very few actresses have the knack to prove their proficiency in both girl-to-next-door and modern looks effortlessly. Malavika Mohanan has demonstrated such distinctive qualities. The way she has exhibited her distinction in diversified roles in various regional films has been extraordinary. I am sure that her presence in this film will be a big advantage." 


Citing the current status of D 43, TG Thyagarajan says, “ It is a well crafted gripping  story with emotions and action in the  forefront , which I believe will appeal to the interests of all regional audiences. Music director GV Prakash’s will be a precious asset. With a team of talented personalities, I am positively charged with such an extraordinary team and am looking forward to a successful project.”


Malavika is also part of Thalapathy Vijay's Master.

 She starred in Rajinikanth's Petta as well.
