Movie Review: Magudam
The story revolves around a young man Kirubakaran ( Vishal) a medical rep, living a happy life with a wife ( Dushara Vijayayan) and two kids. One fine day, their lives are shattered by the killing of his wife and daughter. A distraught Kiruba discovers the unplatable truth behind the murders, which take him back in time, and his connection to his father Linga (Vishal) a dreaded don with a golden heart. Kiruba hates his father, blaming him for the death of his mother ( Anjali). Is his hatred justified? Who is behind the murder of his mother, wife and child? Does he ever find out the truth? Does he avenge the deaths? Vishal and Dushara make a fine screen pair in the first half and the portions with them and their kids along with the light-hearted portions, with Thambi Ramaiah are laced with humor. But things get serious,once Linga enters the scene. However, the romance portions wooing Anjali brings relief with comedy and song and dance, before the war b...
