By Rinku Gupta  After the success of Action Hero Biju and 1983, Mollywood's Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine join hands to team up for a new movie titled Mahaveeryar. The shooting of the film kicked-off in Rajasthan. The film has an ensemble cast including Kannada actor Shanvi Srivastava in the lead role. The movie also has Lal, Siddique, Vijay Menon, Krishna Prasad, Major Ravi, Ashwin Kumar, Suraj S Kurup, Sudheer Paravoor and Banumathi. The story is written by well-known Malayalam author M Mukundan.  The movie also will see actor Asif Ali joining hands with Nivin. The film is produced by Nivin Pauly under the banner of Pauly Jr Pictures and co-producer by Shamnas under the banner of Indian Movie Makers.  Chandramohan Selvaraj rolls the camera, while Ishan Chabra composes the music. The main locations are Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai and Kochi.

 By Rinku Gupta Even as the Mohanal-starrer 'Drishyam-2', the sequel to Malayalam superhit 'Drishyam', is getting rave reviews from various quarters, the film is all set to be remade in Telugu. Drishyam 2 dropped on Amazon Prime recently. Venkatesh and Meena are all set to repeat the magic in Tollywood. Interestingly, the same team which remade the original 'Drishyam' in Telugu is coming together for the sequel too. While Jeetu Joseph will wield the megaphone, Venkatesh, Meena, Nadhiya and Naresh will play key roles. It is to be noted that it's the same Jeetu who made 'Drishyam' in Malayalam as well. The film's pooja will take place on March 1. Shooting will commence on March 5 and go on for 50 days. Now looks like they are expanding further on their list.  They are now producing a film titled Walking/Talking Strawberry Icecream. The film with this unusual name is directed by debutant Vinayak, a former associate of Vignesh Shivan.  The film belongs to the romantic genre and the details about others in the cast and crew will be announced soon.

The film is an out and out comedy entertainer set against a college backdrop.  Actress Priyanka Arul Mohan, who is playing the female lead role, is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for the second time after ‘Doctor’. SJ Suryah, Soori, Samuthirakani, Vijay TV fame Sivangi, R.
