Kangana Ranaut heads South for Thalaivi shoot !

Actor Kangana Ranaut who headed back to her family home in Manali after the incident of her office demolition in Mumbai, is now resuming shooting during the Unlock process.

After 7 months of a break due to the Covid lockdown, Kangana is resuming shoot for her Tamil film Thalaivi which was being shot in Chennai earlier.

The actor is heading South today, looking refreshed and eager to resume work on one of her most ambitious projects. 

She shared on social media, "Dear friends today is a very special day, resuming work after 7 months, travelling to southern India for my most ambitious bilingual project #thalaivi, need your blessings in these testing times of a pandemic.

The film is a bi-lingual, based on the life of actor turned iconic politician, former Tamilnadu Chief Minister, Selvi J Jayalalitha  and is directed by AL Vijay. The screenplay is by Baahubali and Manikarnika fame KV Vijayendra Prasad.

Kangana had gained 20 kgs for some portions of her role.

In Hindi, Kangana will start work on her film Tejas in December.
