Karthik Subbaraj directs Kalyani Priyadarshan, mom Lissy Lakshmi !

Making her Tamil debut with Hero opposite Sivakarthikeyan recently actor Kalyani Priyadarshan is going places,  already being  part of STR 's Maanadu next. The daughter of ace director Priyadarshan and actor, model, entrepreneur Lissy Lakshmi, debuted to rave reviews, in her parents' home turf, Malyalam cinema, recently with Dulquer Salmaan, in Varane Avashyamund. She is part of a film opposite Pranav Mohanlal as well.



Now, the talented mom - daughter duo, Lissy and Kalyani and have come together for a prestigious sari ad of leading apparel chain Pothys.

The beautiful ad which shows some heartwarming moments between mother and daughter, is directed by none other than D40 director Karthik Subbaraj!

It maybe recalled that Lissy was part of a recent a calender shoot of photographer Venket Ram G ' s tribute to Raja Ravi Varma's paintings, in aid of Suhasini Mani Ratnam's NGO, Naam. The dynamic Lissy Lakshmi runs the ace sound studio  and preview theatre, Le Magic Lantern in the city.
