Soorarai Pottru gets NOC, readies for Diwali release!

Suriya had written a heartfelt note to fans expaining the reason for the delay of Soorarai Pottru ( SP) on Amazon Prime. The film had not got the important No Objection Certificate ( NOC) from the Indian Air Force( IAF) which was required in order to release the film, since it had many references to the IAF aircraft and other security details. 

Now 2 D Entertainment producer Rajsekar Pandian  has given a good news. The film has recieved the NOC  from the IAF! This means that that film can now be released.

However, instead of the original date of  October 30th, the makers are now looking for a festival release for the film. So, Suriya's much awaited SP will now release for Diwali in November.


Rajsekar Pandian has clearly hinted at a Diwali release in his tweet. He wrote, "We got the NOC 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 #SooraraiPottru #AnbaanaFans Get ready for updates and new release date!!  Festival of Lights 🪔🪔🪔"


Now this is undoubtedly good news for fans as Suriya's much awaited Sudha Kongara directorial  will get a festival release and add  to the festive spirit. Fans are already rejoicing on social media in anticipation of a Soorarai Pottru Diwali!
