NETFLIX RELEASES ITS SLATE OF TAMIL FILMS FOR 2024 !

Netflix expands its Tamil language licensed content offerings by announcing 9 Tamil  titles that will launch on the service post their theatrical run


On the auspicious occasion of Pongal, Netflix has unveiled a captivating array of 9 Tamil films as part of its licensed content for 2024. These films are slated for an initial theatrical release, allowing fans to relish the cinematic brilliance of their favorite actors on the big screen before the movies find their way onto Netflix for an encore viewing experience at home. 

The announcement of these 9 titles on Netflix's social media platforms has sparked a wave of enthusiasm among Tamil cinema enthusiasts, who eagerly await the cinematic and streaming delights that lay ahead. From Ajith’s VidaaMuyarchi to Sivakarthikeyan’s next and the sequel to one of the biggest films from Tamil Cinema starring Kamal Haasan in Indian 2, and many more will be on Netflix in 2024. 

Sharing details about the upcoming line-up, Monika Shergill, VP - Content, Netflix shares, "Adding to the festive cheer of Pongal, we are excited to share a promising lineup of blockbuster entertainment from the finest makers of the Tamil industry. Last year, films like Leo, Thunivu and Maamannan brought immense joy to our members in India and across the globe.  Varsha ( Smruthi Venkat) and her husband Rajiv move into their own new flat numbered 7 G, with their son. At the house warming party, Rajiv's ex girlfriend Nisha does a witchcraft on their son Rahul and the family because she wants Rajiv back in her life.  Soon some eerie events create havoc in the happy family.  One day,  the truth behind the happenings is revealed.
