'Ghan City' was a very different experience for me. I have never acted in a story like this before. The way director Harish approached me was very unique. Generally, I always give preference to new directors because they have new ideas and new perspectives.

When Harish came to tell the story, the first thing I asked was, 'Who is the producer?' It's easy to start a film today. But finishing it and bringing it to the theatres is a big deal. What matters is whether you have that confidence. Harish gave me that confidence and courage.

If I have to say something about director Harish, I would say that he knows what he wants very clearly. He doesn't shoot unnecessary scenes, but precisely shoots only what is necessary for the story. As a result, the shooting went very smoothly and the artists didn't get tired.

In today's digital age, it has become common to shoot the same scene from multiple angles. But Harish is not like that. He took only what was necessary for the story and worked without wasting time. That is his strength.

“Good evening everyone. My name is Sadanand. This is my first film, my first stage experience. First of all, thank you to everyone who supported me by watching the trailer.

The first person I have to thank for this opportunity is director Harish. I have known him for the last three and a half years. The journey of this story has been with him since the beginning. One day he suddenly called me and asked, 'There is a character in this script, will you play it?' I immediately agreed. That is how my journey in this film began.

I had a personal trainer to help me with my acting. Before the shoot, I practiced and memorized the lines for a week to prepare. But sometimes on the set, new lines were given. I had to memorize them and act them out within minutes. Although it was a challenge for me, it was a great experience.

Arjun Das sir was very supportive while acting with me. He created an environment where I felt comfortable as a new actor. I am grateful to him for that.

Many people today said that this film was their first experience. Similarly, this is my first film experience as a co-producer. Even though our company is in the film industry, this is the first time for me to directly listen to the script of a film and invest in it.

One day, I heard about director Harish through my team. They said he was making a film and was looking for a co-producer. Then I went to meet him. It was the first time in my life that I was going to hear a complete script.

We went to his office at night. Harish started narrating the story. He took about 45 minutes to tell the first half of the story. I then asked him, 'Can we talk about budget and financial matters?' But he said, 'There is still the second half. We can talk about that after listening to that too.'

Generally, one should not reveal one's interest in negotiations. But when I heard that story, I was very impressed. Even though it was my first experience with screenwriting, I could feel the depth in that story. I was very impressed by Harish's clarity of thought and his belief in the story.

Hello everyone. It's a great pleasure to meet all the journalists and media friends. Before talking about 'Khan City', I think I should first talk about Director Harish.

I am usually a very tense person. I get very nervous when a film is about to release. But when Harish first spoke to me about 'Kaan City', I had the same doubts as everyone else. 'Can this really be done? Can I fulfill such a big dream?' I had the same questions.

But for the first time in my life, I met a director; the amount of confidence he had when he told the story, and when I finally saw the film, the same thing remained on the screen without changing even an inch. He had fulfilled what he said exactly. I sincerely appreciate Harish for that.

Not only as a director, Harish is someone who has taken the field with his own investment for his own dream. It is easy to have a dream. But it is very difficult to fight for that dream by risking your money, life and time. That courage inspired me a lot. Harish is more than a friend to me, he is an inspiration.

I have seen the journey of this film from the beginning. Standing on this stage, even watching the trailer, made me emotional because I know how many sleepless nights and how many struggles lie behind that smile.

Arjun Das is the main reason why this film has become this big. He naturally has the weight and personality needed for this story. When I worked with him, I realized one thing. If I have to say about Yogi Babu, I believe he has a divine gift. From children to adults, whoever sees him, he brings a smile to their face. That is not an ordinary thing. I have heard from him himself how much he struggled to reach this place. That journey is very inspiring.

Working with lyricist Mohan Rajan on this film was a great experience. There are two songs that are yet to be released. I am very proud of them. We had a desire to bring back the soul of the philosophical songs of old Tamil cinema. Harish put forward that idea. Those two songs based on that are very important in my musical journey.

I have been composing music for Tamil cinema for thirteen years. But I have a personal pride in these two songs. Half of that pride belongs to Mohan Rajan and half to Harish.

This is my second Tamil film. The love and appreciation you gave me when I played the character Meena in the film 'Kottukkaali' was a huge encouragement to me. I have played a completely opposite role to that Meena character in the film 'Ghan City'.

When director Harish first told me about this role, I was very nervous. It was a character in a new dimension that I had never played before. The acting style, the expression, and the scale of the character were completely different. So it was a big challenge for me.

Even though I had heard many commercial stories before, I was hesitant about how I would fit into that world. But Harish had complete faith in me. He kept encouraging me, saying, 'You can do this. It will be different and unexpected.' That faith gave me the courage to do this role.

What I admired most about Harish was his unwavering faith. No matter what challenges came up on the set, no matter what doubts arose, he always faced them calmly and confidently. His love and dedication to cinema impressed me a lot.

The hard work he put into making this film is immeasurable. From the day the film was started to its release on June 26, he was determined to give his best at every stage. He was fully involved in everything from the songs, advertisements, promotions, to the release. For that, my heartfelt congratulations and thanks to him.

I had tried to work with Arjun Das many times. It has come true with this film. Everyone knows that he is talented as an actor. But as a person he is also very simple and kind. He treated everyone equally on the set and worked very cooperatively.

Vadivukkarasi ma'am is a legend. Working with him was a dream come true for me. The experiences they share while working with senior artists will always be a huge lesson for me. He spent a lot of time with me during this shoot and shared his experiences. He also helped me overcome my initial fear of speaking Tamil dialogues.

If I had to say about Yogi Babu sir, I think he would have added ten years to my life. Because he always makes everyone laugh. Whatever he says, both on and off camera, makes us laugh. Working with him is a very happy experience.

Akilan is my son on screen. A very talented and loving boy. The experience of working with Foxy and the other artists was also very pleasant. Everyone who worked on this film was very supportive of me.

Music composer Shawn Roldan's music is a huge strength of this film. Also, this is the first time I have danced in this film. Special thanks to Santosh Master for that. He taught me challenging dance moves with confidence and encouraged me.

“Hello everyone. First of all, there are two very important people I want to thank on this platform. Kuna Pro Post Office and Vijay Pro (Silver Tree Studios). Without them, the company 'Powerhouse Pictures' and the film 'Khan City' would not have been born. They have been with me and supported me from the beginning till today.

In cinema, I always pray to God that good people should be with me. In that regard, I express my heartfelt gratitude to my producers, partners, friends and family.
