The trailer of '#Love', a web series directed by Balaji Mohan and featuring Soundarya Rajinikanth as showrunner and producer, focusing on modern love and relationships, has been released.
Starring Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lakshmi in the lead roles, the series humorously and sensitively explores how love, dating, relationships, and feelings have changed in today's digital world.
The trailer launch of the '#Love' series held in Chennai was attended by the film crew and celebrities from the film industry who shared their thoughts about the series.

“#Love is Netflix’s first Tamil romantic drama series. Netflix continues to focus on South Indian stories. We want to offer different storylines, unique voices and new approaches, especially in Tamil works. In that sense, ‘#Love’ is a work that tells the story of love from a modern and playful perspective.
'#Love' follows two rival dating app founders. One believes that love is all about compatibility; the other believes that chemistry is all that matters. As the two compete to prove their point, love changes their plans. The series explores how love can sometimes change our thoughts about love, regardless of whether we've used dating apps or not.

I am not easily impressed by many things. Because I am the daughter of a leader. When you live with someone who is admired by everyone, the habit of being impressed by others decreases. But Monica impressed me the most. She is a great leader, a huge inspiration. I thank her for giving me the opportunity to work as a producer and show-runner for Netflix. Similarly, I would like to thank Abhishek and Sudhanshu who have been with me at every stage of the journey.
Being the showrunner and producer of a Netflix original series is a huge responsibility. The line from 'Spider-Man', 'With great power comes great responsibility', is true. It became my responsibility to take a story from beginning to end. I had to make many difficult decisions along the way. I learned to be firm in my decisions and to change them when necessary.
Ultimately, our sole aim was to get the show to where we wanted it to be. The biggest thing I learned on this journey is that even though decisions are difficult, they need to be made at the right time. I can’t wait for the fans to watch the trailer of ‘#Love’ and the entire series.”

“Love is something that no one in the world can fully understand. That is why I keep telling stories about love. It is a journey that continues for generations, for men to learn about women and for women to learn about men. The beauty of love is that even after many years, we will never fully understand it.
I don't keep talking about love because I know everything about it. In fact, I don't know anything about love at all. Like everyone else, I'm constantly trying to understand it. That's what keeps love interesting and new. That's why I'm passionate about telling love stories on screen.
It's a pleasure to say that fans learn a lot about love from my work. At the same time, I'm careful not to create the same expectations in real life from watching love stories in movies. I try to make my stories as close to real life as possible, while at the same time making the audience dream and relate to them.
That is how we created the series 'Love'. We have tried to tell this story by combining some dreams about love with feelings close to real life. I hope that viewers will be able to relate to their own experiences when watching this series.”

When asked if he would be friends with Matthew if he were a real-life character, he said, “I might be friends with him to talk about his adventures, mountain climbing, etc. At the same time, I might not like some of his things. What attracted me most to the character of Matthew was his emotions and the vulnerable side he reveals in the story.”
Talking about the character of Tara, Aishwarya Lakshmi said,
“Playing Tara was very freeing and happy for me. I can compare myself to Tara 80 percent. Many times I was not acting at all, I was just being that character. Tara is not someone who is far away from me like some of the characters I have played. So playing her was very natural. Also, I had a desire to act in a love story. ‘#Love’ was a great opportunity for that. Earlier, we were supposed to act in a film with Arjun; I was sad that it didn’t happen. But now I am very happy that ‘#Love’ has come to fruition. Sometimes good things take time to happen,” she said.
