Celebrity stylist Komal Shahani on working in Mersal

Mumbai -based celebrity stylist Komal Shahani is thrilled with the response to her work in Vijay's Diwali release Mersal. "This is my 4th film with Vijay sir after Thuppakki, Jilla and Theri.  Both l Atlee and Vijay sir are perfectionists ! I thoroughly enjoyed experimenting and trying new styles on Vijay sir"

What is the mantra behind her success as a celebrity stylist, who is well known in Bollywood as well? " I would say perhaps its my dedication, working with a good plan and a lookbook  and honesty and determination towards my work."

Her styling for Vijay in Mersal has recieved appreciation on social media and she has even been trending at the time of release.  Having  worked on the Atlee- Vijay project Theri she apparently shares a good bond with the duo and is in synch with thier working style. She reveals, " At first I had got a call for Mersal but I had just conceived so doctors had asked me not to travel for a month. Then after the first few days,  I got a call again from Atlee sirs team to join Mersal and style Vijay sir for his uber cool looks. That was a really great feeling that I was really wanted by the team!"

 The reticent stylist who also styles for celebs like Akshay Kumar prefers to let her work speak for her, " In the past many stylists and designers have tried to take the credit for the work I've done as I never believed in blowing my own trumpet and I let my work speak for me ! "
She is all praise for Vijay, " It's my bond with Vijay sir  that I value a lot and which helps me give my best.  He is such a skilled actor . He just moulds himself to any look or costume ! It's a real blessing to work with him and I hope
I continue working with him and keep trying newer and cool trends with him !"
