 SI Adhyaman ( Samuthirakani ) investigates a gruesome twin murder of 2 couples in a village. While his superiors dismiss his intelligence, his senior officer Lakshmi ( Sshivada ) believes in him and makes him part of a special team to nab the culprits. Thanks to Adhyaman's skills the task force manages to trace possible suspects in a hamlet in a border town in Andhra Pradesh. As they begin to dig deeper, several layers emerge which link the case to events dating back to 1995. Who are the kiĺlers ? Do cops Adhyaman and Lakshmi manage to nab them? Movie Review : Muthu Engira Kaattaan

  In a tiny remote hamlet, which is on the verge of being closed down for lack of crime,  emerges a unique murder. The cops are shocked to find a head of a dead man on a rock, with just a note and 2 lakh rupees and no clue as to who killed him and where his body is.  From then on begins a hunt for the identity of this person and the body.  The hunt takes the cops on a long haul travel in the pursuit of clues, right up to Kerala even.  But despite so many clues, though a hazy picture emerges, the answers are still not found.  The cops find out his name is Muthu (Vijay Sethupathy) but why was he killed and who was he in reality? The web -series which also stars Milind Soman, starts off on a highly promising note. The slow build up to the surprise, works well and is in keeping with the slice-of-life feel of the screenplay. Movie Review : Kolai Seval

  Kali ( Kalaiyarasan) and Anasuya ( Deepa Bala) have a love marriage  and now she is pregnant. As per family custom, they travel to a remote forest temple to pray to a goddess.  After the rituals, the family returns while the couple are set to travel back on Kali's bike. But just as they are about to do so, something happens which changes Kali's life forever. What happens to the couple? Who are the perpetrators and why did they do what they did?  The film builds up suspense bit by bit, thanks to a measured screenplay, that takes you through the lives of the young couple and those of the family,  neighbours and friends. Just as your wondering out may go a certain way,  a twist appears to keep you guessing again. The film gives a beautiful slice of life,  realistic feel, with dialogues steeped in the local dialect, characters that are well written all building up a slow emotional  connect to these people.  But the climax comes as a shock and n...
