Amitabh Bachchan tests Covid positive, hospitalised

The legendary star Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid 19. The actor made the announcement on Twitter, adding that his family is being tested and requested that anyone who came in touch with him in the past few days should get themselves tested

He tweeted," T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive ..  shifted to Hospital  .. hospital informing  authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..
All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !


Shri Bachchan has reportedly been hospitalised at Mumbai's Nanavati hospital. According to media reports, the star  had complained of mild breathlessness over the past few days. His test results came in today.


Wishes praying for his speedy recovery have been pouring in from friends, fans and his peers across industries.

From Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Rana Daggubati, Dhanush, R Madhavan, Sarath Kumar, Boman Irani and Mammooty, to Vikram Prabhu, Dulquer Salman, SJ Suryah, Seenu Ranasamy, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Amisha Patel, Priyamani, Boney Kapoor, Mahesh Babu, Irfan Pathan and Simi Grewal to name a few, get well soon messages are flooding social media.

As per media reports  he is asymptomatic as of now.
