Veetla Vishesham is a humorous movie, but has lots of moral values that audiences will take back home from the theaters” - Aparna Balamurali
Having won unconditional appreciation for her brilliant performance as Bommi in Soorarai Pottru, the talented actress Aparna Balamurali is back in K-Town with RJ Balaji’s Veetla Vishesham. She is all set to enthrall the audiences with her new avatar ‘Sowmya’. Actress Aparna shares some of the wonderful moments that happened on the sets, and why she accepted to be a part of Veetla Vishesham, which is hitting screens on June 17, 2022.
“Sowmya is a character that someone can relate with as a girl-to-next-door. I am glad to be a part of the movie that deals with the relationship values,” says Aparna, who continues to add, “The first reason I got excited to be a part of this project is Badai Ho, which was a huge success. Secondly, the way, Balaji wrote the script, by making many changes from the original version, to adapt to the regional tastes of Tamil audiences. Veetla Vishesham is a humorous movie, but has lots of moral values that audiences will take back home from the theaters.”
Furthermore, she adds, “It’s a very well-known fact from the original version that the roles of Sathyaraj sir and Urvashi mam are going to be more predominant in this movie. At the same time, Balaji sir made sure that my character is written and presented beautifully. Whenever I am there on the screen, he made sure that my character gets appreciated by the audience. It’s not just me, but every actor in this movie has a pivotal character.”
Sharing her experience of working with iconic actors, Aparna says, “Such an experience is definitely, a magical moment for any actor. There was a particular scene featuring me along with Sathyaraj sir, Urvashi madam, Lalitha madam, RJ Balaji, and others. The photographic click in my mind is still fresh and will be a moment that I will cherish forever.”
Veetla Vishesham is directed by RJ Balaji-NJ Saravanan and is produced by Zee Studios & Bayview Projects LLP Boney Kapoor in Association with Romeo Pictures.
