Parasakthi introduces the world of film to the world!
Set against the historical backdrop of the 1960s, the film, which celebrates the pride of Tamil in a different context, will be released worldwide on January 14th, 2026, as a Pongal release.

The film crew has brought the world of Parasakthi to life through a set in Valluvar Kottam, using cars, trains, railway station sets and essential items from the era to bring the film to life in the 60s. The world of Parasakthi has been created as an exhibition for the public to view.
Before a film is released, its world is designed and showcased for the public, which has attracted the attention of many. The public can experience the world of Parasakthi for the next three days (19, 20, 21 December).
The world premiere of the film Parasakthi was held in a grand manner at the Valluvar Kottam Hall, attended by fans, film crew, film celebrities, and friends from the press and media.

Through films, we can live in every aspect of life. That is something I like the most. Just as we lived in a boxing world in the film Aadhichatru, we have entered our historical period in the film Parasakthi. The idea that we have to fight for our rights really affected me. We have tried everything to bring back the historical world. We have recreated that period. It is like living in the 1960s again. Everyone will definitely like this film, thank you.

Parasakthi is a big world. Sudha Kongara won me a National Award for the film Soorarai Pottru. I was familiar with Sudha when I was with Rahman sir. I haven't done many films with her. After a long time, we did Soorarai Pottru. It was a big film for me and Suriya sir. Parasakthi is the one to thank for that. The biggest question was what we were going to do again in Parasakthi. We had already done Madrasapattinam in the Peerayat films, so the question was what we were going to do differently from that. We have worked hard to give it that. I am reuniting with Siva after Amaran. Thanks to everyone like Ravi Mohan, Atharva Srileela. A producer like Akash should be there to carry such a big film. There will be a period feel in the film. It is a pleasure to star together in this film. I welcome Srileela to Tamil cinema. It was a good experience to act with her. I thank the dance master for not giving her difficult dance movements.
