"Director's Day" celebrations on 4th May!
To celebrate the birth anniversary of our Telugu pride , Director Dasari Narayana Rao, who directed the most feature films in the world and created a world record.. Telugu directors have declared May 4th as "Director's Day" and celebrated it like a celebration for the last 5 years!

Veera Shankar, president of the Telugu Film Directors' Association said that the main objective is to provide a welfare fund for the Telugu Directors' Association, and we are going to organize this year's "Directors' Day" festival in an unprecedented manner at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad.
Sai Rajesh, vice-president of the Telugu Film Directors' Association, disclosed the details of the festival in a special media conference (curtain raiser event) held on Monday evening. Also, another vice-president Vashishta informed that three best films from the films of new directors released this year will be selected and the directors of those films will be honored by their association with a cash prize of one lakh rupees and a memento.Also, directors Anil Ravipudi, Anudeep, Shiva Nirvana and others are fully engaged in creating many cultural programs along with their fellow director friends, the organizers said.
Famous directors Vijayendra Prasad, Relangi Narasimha Rao, N. Shankar, V.N. Aditya, Maruthi, Harish Shankar, Ajay Bhupathi, V. Samudra, G. Ram Prasad, Venky Atluri, Ram Bhimana, Anudeep, Ravipalli Rambabu and others attended the event as special guests!
In the beginning , General Secretary of Telugu Film Directors' Association Ch. Subbareddy started the meeting and invited many celebrities on the stage.
Director's Day and TFDA logos were unveiled in this meeting. Also, the official website of the Telugu Film Directors' Association was also formally launched. Besides, organizers said that entry passes for this year's "Director's Day" event will soon be sold through the "Book My Show" app.

Veera Shankar, president of the Telugu Film Directors' Association said that they have been implementing the free midday meal scheme for the members of their association who are facing financial difficulties since Ugadi, and they have been able to collect 35 lakh rupees in donations for the members' group insurance scheme within a short period of time.He also said that they will work tirelessly to serve their members in every way and that the funds raised through the "Directors' Day" they are celebrating on May 4 will be used only for the benefit of their members.
Director Harish Shankar said that famous actors like Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Prabhas, Srikanth, Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, Ram Pothineni, Kalyan Ram, Allari Naresh, Varun Tej, Sai Durga Tej, Vishwak Sen, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Navadeep, Vaishnava Tej, etc.and many character artists, technicians will be participating in the event.
Director N Shankar said that five years ago when he was the president of this association, he started this director's day celebration, and it is a great thing that the current executive committee is continuing the same trend in a great manner.
Directors Maruti surprised everyone by saying that hero Prabhas has announced a donation of 35 lakh rupees to the Telugu Directors' Association.

The general secretary of this association CH Subbareddy said that this ceremony is going to be held in the presence of around 15 thousand viewers and he invited everyone who loves Telugu cinema to come and grace this festival. This is the truth of history. It is a film director's festival. He asked the audience to come and bless us all.
Many praised Shankar, the head of Raknas events who announced a donation of 10 lakh rupees to this association while carrying such a big event on their shoulders.
In this program, Telugu Film Directors' Association Treasurer PV Rama Rao, Vice Presidents Sai Rajesh, Vashishta and other members of the Association's Cultural Committee and Literary Committee also participated.
