Movie Review: Veduvan web series

 Suraj ( Kanna Ravi) is an actor who is in the lookout for a special role. He is ecstatic when he bags the role of an undercover cop. 

As the story proceeds, Suraj gets further and further into the skin of his character, Arunmozhi ( Kanna Ravi). As the film story unfolds and the shooting proceeds, Suraj finds that sonething is amiss. Unable to get rid of the feeling, he delves deeper into the story of Arunmozhi and finds sone startling truths. What does he discover? How does it impact his film?








Veduvan has an intetesting plot helped by a non- linear screenplay, going back and forth in not just Time but also letting the reel  life characters in the film  shoot intersperse with the lives of the real characters. All of this builds up the suspense and piques interest levels all through.

The cast is a carefully, well selected one,  which aids the film no end.  Kanna Ravi  is simply  terrific as both Suraj and Arunmozhi. The actor proves his talent yet again in every frame. Lavanya as Arunmozhi's wife is a delight to watch with her natural performance. The chemistry and bonding between the duo elevates the series. As Arunmozhi's childhood friend, Vinusha Devi is outstanding in a complex role and along with Kanna Ravi, the duo pull off a fantastic act in a well written part of the series. 

Actor Sanjeev Venkat is spectacular as Adhinadhan, in a noteworthy, carefully controlled, subtle, nuanced and hugely impactful performance, the mainstay of the film. 

With ample suspense and twists, a neat plot and well written characters, excellent detailing and effective, no frills dialogues, and well staged scenes, Veduvan is an excellent watch. Streaming on Zee 5 Tamil.

 Varsha ( Smruthi Venkat) and her husband Rajiv move into their own new flat numbered 7 G, with their son. At the house warming party, Rajiv's ex girlfriend Nisha does a witchcraft on their son Rahul and the family because she wants Rajiv back in her life.  Soon some eerie events create havoc in the happy family.  One day,  the truth behind the happenings is revealed.  Vetri ( Santhanam) works in a matrimonial site office.
