Nagabandham extravagant set becomes talk of the town

Young hero Virat Karrna is coming up with a Pan-India film Nagabandham, directed by the passionate filmmaker Abhishek Nama, and produced by Kishore Annapureddy under NIK Studios, in collaboration with Abhishek Pictures. Lakshmi Ira and Devansh Nama proudly present it. The pre-look, followed by the first look received a superb response. Virat Karrna transformed himself completely for the character and his gym pictures where he appeared in beast avatar showed his dedication for the movie.


The shoot of the movie is progressing smoothly. Presently, the makers are canning a crucial sequence and also a song in a massive set, against the backdrop of a gigantic replica of the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, ambitiously crafted by production designer Ashok Kumar. Constructed with astonishing attention to detail, the set has left both the crew and visiting media awestruck, with many calling it a near-perfect recreation of the original temple in Kerala.


This song features 1000 dancers moving in unison alongside Virat Karrna, supervised by Bollywood popular choreographer Ganesh Acharya. The combination of ancient aesthetics, modern filmmaking, and explosive dance energy is expected to deliver a sequence that will be remembered for years.


With a whopping 10 crore budget dedicated to this single episode, Nagabandham is positioning itself as a visual spectacle. The producers are leaving no stone unturned to deliver grandeur on par with pan-Indian epics. 


The movie features an impressive ensemble cast such as Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as female leads, and Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and B.S. Avinash in supporting roles.


The movie explores the hidden secrets of India’s ancient Vishnu temples, specifically focusing on the sacred practice of Nagabandham. Inspired by recent treasure discoveries at temples like Padmanabhaswamy and Puri Jagannath, the story dives into the captivating mythology surrounding these divine locations and the enigmatic rituals designed to safeguard them. The film brings these age-old mysteries to life with a fresh, modern narrative.


The cinematography is handled by Soundar Rajan S, while Abhe juned provides the music. The film's dialogues are written by Kalyan Chakravarthy, with Santosh Kamireddy handling the editing. Ashok Kumar contributes is the art director.


Nagabandham will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
