 By Rinku Gupta Putting to rest months of speculation ever since Samantha dropped the Akkineni surname on social media, the much loved couple ChaySam as they were known, have announced their separation. Both actors, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha took to Instagram to make the announcement today.  The duo issued identical statements saying that they were parting ways as husband and wife to pursue their own paths, but would always remain friends. The duo had been good friends since 10 years before their wedding. The duo had a dream wedding four years ago in 2017.  Fans are  heartbroken as the couple were a hit pair on screen and  a much loved pair off  screen.  We wish the couple strength in this tough period of their lives. 

 Directed by Vineeth Varaprasad, Lift, was a much awaited film by its hero Kavin's fans. The film, co- starring Amritha Iyer, dropped on Disney Hotstar on October 1st. The horror thriller is set in an IT company, where both Guru ( Kavin) and Harini ( Amritha) have recently joined. The duo  now get caught up in a bizarre set of happenings one night, as they are the only ones working late.  The main problem seems to centred around a lift with a mind of its own.  By the time the duo learn that the place is haunted,  it's almost too late to get out,  as all exits seem to be blocked.  What is happening and why? Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s much-awaited “Doctor” is all set for worldwide theatrical release on October 9, 2021. The film is directed by Nelson and is produced by KJR Studios' Kotapadi J Rajesh in association with Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The cast and crew of this film interacted with press and media personnel sharing their experience of the journey at a grand event. Speaking about the film,  hero Sivakarthikeyan said, “I am glad to meet you all after a couple of years. When it comes to penning lyrics, I was so unsure about it. Now, on Daughter's Day proud dad Arya has revealed his daughter's name, and wished his bundle of joy. He posted, " Two months of being a dad. Happy Daughter's day Ariana!" Sayyeshaa who was very active on social media had taken a break from it, to be with her newborn.  But her lovely mom, Shhaheen Ahmed, has been active with nostalgic posts about her daughter and family.  Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum ,directed by Arisiyal Murthy and produced by 2DEntertainment dropped on Amazon Prime on September 24th.  Set in a village backdrop, the film takes us into the lives of Kannimuthu ( a fine debut by  Mithun Manickam) and Veerayi ( Ramya Pandian immerses herself into the role), a couple who adore their bullocks Vellaiyan and Karuppan, like their own children. One day,  all hell breaks loose when the bulls diasappear. The couple are completely distraught and try every means to find them, but in vain. They are helped in their attempts by a friend ( superb performance by Murugan Vaduvelu). Enter, a journalist (an impressive Vani Bhojan)  who gets involved in the issue and makes them aware of the politics involved in the bulls' disappearance.  Do the distraught couple get their bulls back?  The film is a political satire with a fine sprinkling of emotion, sentiments and quirky wit, referring to current socio- political issues ...
