Grand Pre-release event of Fahadh Faasil's 'Don't Trouble The Trouble'

 

'Don't Trouble the Trouble', produced by Shobu Yerlakada - S. S. Karthikeya under the banner of Arka Media Works - Showing Business, directed by Shashank Yeleti and starring Fahadh Faasil and presented by director S. S. Rajamouli, will be released in theaters worldwide on October 2nd.

The film is being released by distributor Sakthi Velan on behalf of Sakthi Film Factory across Tamil Nadu.

A special pre-release event was held at a star hotel in Chennai to promote the film. The event was attended by the film crew including S.S. Rajamouli, S.S. Karthikeya, Fahadh Faasil, Sara Palekar, Praveen Antony, distributor Sakthivelan, actor Suriya and producer Isari K. Ganesh as special guests.

Speaking at the event, distributor Sakthivelan said,

"If Hollywood wanted to show grandeur... they needed big dinosaurs. But the one who started with 'E' from our hometown and showed grandeur to the whole world was our director S.S. Rajamouli. For all of us, grandeur means Hollywood.. 'Don't Trouble the Trouble' is a film released under the banner of director S.S. Rajamouli who made us believe that it is not. Beyond this, what are we going to say about this film?

When the teaser of the film was released, it was revealed that Fahadh Faasil has acted in the film presented by SS Rajamouli. After that, after the trailer of the film was released, there was a talk from all sides that... this is a film that all my friends should watch and enjoy with their families. This has given us happiness.

I told producer Karthikeya that this film should have been released in 3D technology, but you have released it in 2D technology. I said that if the film is re-released in 3D technology, it will get a better reception.

"I first met this team for the trailer of RRR. That's when I met SS Rajamouli and SS Karthikeya. I call producer Karthikeya my brother. From that moment on, they had immense faith in me. That's why they gave me the editing job for the film."

If they have faith in me... they won't approve of everything I do. I don't know how many versions we made for the trailer of the film. In a way, they would say that editing is good, but we can change the first part a little. If we change it... the first part is okay. But they would say that we can change the second part a little. Then we can change the second part too. The reason I say this is... they don't take anything lightly. Karthikeya is clear about what kind of impact a trailer should have? What should it have? I learned this from the team.

S. S. Rajamouli is like that too. When you work with him, you wonder if you are working with him.

While reading the script of this film, I asked director Shashank how he was going to portray the things in these places. Generally, if 60 percent of what is written in the screenplay is made into scenes... that is considered a huge success. But for me, this film has been presented 200 percent neatly. That is, they have presented 200 percent of the screenplay to the screen. The director's vision... the cinematographer's vision... along with Fahadh Faasil's contribution... makes it very special.

A great architect once told me... 'If you can draw the outline of a building on your fingernail... that is the best building.' For me, this applies to films as well. A two-and-a-half-hour film should be told in two or three lines. That is the best film. That is what I told Shashank, the director of this film.

The director met me to narrate the story. Then he said, "Give me three hours. I will tell the story of the film." Of course, he couldn't give him three hours. I asked, "Can you tell the story of the film in five minutes?" How is that possible? He asked. If you tell the story of the film in five minutes... if I like it... I will listen to a two-and-a-half-hour story. Then he thought about it and said, "I don't want five minutes. I will tell this story in one sentence."

'The story of a man who kidnapped a ghost..' I really liked it as soon as it was said. In this single sentence, all the things in it ran through my mind. So this story was very good. After that, the work on this film began.

Everyone knows that Fahadh Faasil is a great actor. He has played different characters in every film like 'Kumbalangi Nights', 'Joshi', 'Trance'. I am still amazed to this day how he chooses and plays such characters. It is amazing that he continues to play characters with dark shades. His acting in this film too is special.

To repeat, he is the rascal of this film. He has played the role of Suri wonderfully. When I saw the first version of this film without dubbing... without music... I cried. I laughed. This film moved me to that extent. He has brought the character of Suri to life to that extent. Thank you to him for this.

Divya is the one who chases away Soori's character in the film. Sara has played that character. She has acted very wonderfully. Even though she says Soori is my best friend on screen.. but on the sets, they would have been enemies. There would have been a competition to outdo each other. In this film, for every scene... for every dialogue... for every small performance.... Divya will be the perfect competitor for Soori. The fans will definitely like this competition.

We make a lot of calculations like a calculator. All actors are trapped in an image. But that's not the case with Fahadh Faasil. I still make these calculations incorrectly. I can't be like him. He only focuses on his character. Is the story good..? Is his character good in it..? He only sees. Can we give this 'content' to the fans correctly..? Bhagat Faasil is the kind of person who thinks.
