Film Review: Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.3
Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” released in India on 5th May 2023 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in cinemas.
The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter and Maria Bakalova.
James Gunn is the director and also wrote the screenplay. Kevin Feige produces with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Sara Smith, and Simon Hatt serving as executive producers.
The Guardians are out to protect Rocket, this time. He is hunted by the High Evolutionary who experiments on animals to create Counter Earth.
What are the odds they are up against in this dangerous mission, this time? Do they succeed in protecting Rocket who is battling for his life. Does Rocket avenge the harm caused to his friends?
The set pieces are gigantic and jaw dropping in several places. Rocket steals the show all the way and his scenes with his caged friends are moving.
The constant bickering between the heroes is a downer and slows the film and distracts from all the impending action around them.
Overall, the film is watchable for the few highs from time to time and the sentimental and action scenes involving Rocket. Wait for the end credits for a peek into the future.
