Movie Review : Inga Naan Thaan Kingu

 Vetri ( Santhanam) works in a matrimonial site office. An orphan himself, he hopes to soon get a good match for himself too.  His wish comes true when lady luck lands  him a rich zamindar's ( Thambi Ramaiah) daughter Thenmozhi ( Priyalaya) as his wife. 

The zamindar has three conditions, all of which Vetri fulfils. But one of the conditions lands him in debt . Moroever, when he hopes to recover the amount and pay off the debt by means of a fat dowry, he is  shocked to discover that the family he married into is in financial doldrums too ! He tries to find a solution to his problems.

What happens next? 

Santhanam is back with his comic capers and armed with a solid supporting cast of consummate performers, he delivers a decent time pass family entertainer.




Apart from.Santhanam, director Anand Narayan taps into the strengths of his actors like Maran, Seshu, Thambi Ramaiah, Bala Saravanan, Manobala, Narayanan, Munishkanth and Vivek Prasanna and an interesting storyline, to deliver a breezy entertainer.

Priyalaya makes a good debut with a credible performance while Santhanam is his usual self, totally in form with his antics, but giving ample space to his co-actors to perform and bring in the laughs.

D Imman delivers peppy tracks in keeping with the feel of the film while the visuals help in keeping the entertainment quotient high.

On the flip side, there are portions in the latter half that could have been made crisper to amp up the entertainment.

Overall, with a batallion of a solid cast led by Santhanam, and an engaging story, Inga Naan Thaan Kingu keeps the laughs coming and the mood light,  making for a good family entertainer for the summer.
