As Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning makes a grand release in India on May 17, 6 days before US marking the epic conclusion to a franchise Tom Cruise has led for almost 30 years, the icon, who truly redefined global entertainment, reflects on his timeless bond with India. Cruise not only spoke about the films, but about the people and places that have shaped his journey along the way. While promoting what is set to be his most personal and high-stakes chapter yet, Cruise opened up about his enduring connection with India — a country he says has given him not just admiration, but memories for a lifetime and wishes to come back to again!





Speaking about his admiration for India, Tom Cruise said “India is an amazing country, an amazing culture. The whole experience has been etched in my memory forever. Every single moment that I landed, going to the Taj Mahal, to spending time in Mumbai and all the people lining up at the premiere, I remember every moment quite vividly. I love travelling and love working in different cultures, I would like to go back and would like to make a film there. I love Bollywood films and the skill that it takes to do, what you all do. I have grown up on musicals and love dramas. This culture is something that I would like to be a part of It is on my list of kinds of films I’d like to make!”


While expressing his excitement, he also said, “I love India! It was so much fun, I cannot wait to go back to India. I have so many friends back there who I can’t wait to go back to. It was just extraordinary and beautiful. I will never forget. I would love to shoot there and would love to make a Bollywood-style film, it would be so much fun, the dancing the singing the drama. I just find it utterly amazing.”
