Vowels Grand Audio Launch !

Vowels, a promising anthology of five stories dealing with five emotional essences of ‘Love’, is directed by five filmmakers. The film is produced by Raju Sheregar and is all set for its worldwide theatrical release on March 13, 2026. The film’s audio launch was held this morning, and here are some excerpts from the event.

Producer C.V. Kumar, Thirukumaran Entertainment said: “I recently watched the Vowels trailer, and I was truly impressed. Congratulations to all the directors. My best wishes to Hari Uthra for supporting and encouraging these talented filmmakers. The film encapsulates a big league of talented legends like Yugi Sethu sir and Chinni Jayanth sir. I wish the entire team great success.”

Music Director Saravanan said: “Firstly, I would like to thank all the directors of this film: Dhilip, Sangeeth, Santhosh, Hemanth, and Jagan. Their thinking process itself was awe-inspiring. The reason behind titling the film ‘VOWELS’ lies in its relevance to the ‘Love’ genre. There are seven songs in this film, and they have shaped up beautifully. I take this opportunity to thank the producers, Uthara Productions, and legend Yugi Sethu sir for their support. I also thank my lyricists Prakash, Madhan, and Madurai Kavi for penning wonderful lyrics for the film.”

Director Sangeeth Nath said: “Firstly, I would like to thank everyone gathered here. This is my first opportunity to speak on a stage like this. I thank my producer Raju sir. My humble thanks to Yugi Sethu sir and Chinni Jayanth sir for imparting valuable cinematic knowledge. Although we approached them for our film, we kept learning so much from them. Usually, a single emotion revolves around the ‘Love’ genre, but for the first time, we have presented five different emotions within a love story. I thank all the actors and technical crew for their wonderful support. Out of the five emotions or shades, I have handled ‘Attraction’ as the core emotion in this film.”

Director Santhosh Ravi said: “Speaking in Tamil is new to me, as my mother tongue is Telugu. I am thankful to Chinni Jayanth sir for constantly giving me valuable inputs. This is our first film, and his guidance was truly impressive. Every suggestion was valid and helped us carry the other emotions effectively in the story. When I crafted the emotional portions, I was slightly worried about who could do justice to them. Eventually, Deepak has done a fabulous job. Samyuktha Vishwanath has delivered a great performance. My humble thanks to each and every one present here. I request you all to support this film.”

Director Hemanth said: “I would like to thank my producer and Hari Uthra sir for being such a great support and for facilitating a perfect release. The film is releasing on March 13. I request you all to watch the film and support it. Thank you.”

Director Jagan Rajendran said: “I thank producer Raju sir for giving me this opportunity. I am glad to have Yugi Sethu sir and Chinni Jayanth sir here. I am happy to have worked with Raj Ayyappa in my first film. He perfectly translated my ideas into his characterisation and made it appear exactly as I had imagined. Harshitha ma’am’s dedication and hard work are truly inspiring. Priyanka has done an amazing job. Santhosh Ravi kept spreading positive vibes throughout the shoot. The entire technical crew has elevated the film’s elegance to a greater magnitude. Thank you all for this opportunity. I believe everyone will love this movie.”

Actor Raj Ayyappa said: “The first day of the film’s shooting happened in Coorg, and it was also my birthday. So, the memories of working on Vowels will always remain special. All five directors kept me relaxed and happy. The entire team had wonderful unity and coordination, which is clearly reflected in the trailer. I am excited to watch the film in theatres. I thank my producers and the entire crew for this opportunity.”

Director Dhilip Kumar said: “There are two legends in this movie. Yugi Sethu sir is the epitome of intelligence blended with humour. Usually, in a scene, attention is drawn towards someone loud and commanding, but in contrast, he steals attention with his calm presence. Working with Chinni Jayanth sir has been a blessing. In 1991, he played Murali sir’s friend in Idhayam. Later, in 1999, he played Kunal’s friend in Kadhalar Dhinam, and now in 2026, he plays the hero’s friend in Vowels. Vijay Sri madam played a terrific role in Stephen, and now she will be seen in a different dimension. Siddhu’s role holds a surprise. Director Hemanth has always played a pivotal role in shaping my story. The combination of Yugi Sethu sir and Peter was like Robin Williams and Jim Carrey coming together. The press and media fraternity have been a great support in nurturing the careers of many debut directors. I request you all to support this movie. I thank my producers and the entire team for a wonderful experience.”

Actor Chinni Jayanth said: “One thing I admired about working in Vowels is the unity among the five directors. More than me, Yugi Sethu being part of this film is a big USP. I request all the press and media friends to support these youngsters. I have been working in the industry for the past 42 years. I request the cast and crew to continue working hard with dedication. When the director approached me, I was slightly surprised. I have done something special in this film, but I do not want to break the suspense. I hope everyone will love Vowels. Thank you all.”

Actor Yugi Sethu said: “I am very happy to be part of this film that features Chinni Jayanth sir. He is a true firebrand and trailblazer of mimicry. I have rejected many films over the years, but this one impressed me deeply. While my brother is stuck in war in Dubai, here I am speaking about Love. The anthology of Love in Vowels will be a fresh experience. While the international film industry works on creating films with a 90-minute runtime, in India we make films of 2 hours and 30 minutes. India is also the only country to have an interval. This trend will definitely gain more attention. Music Director Saravanan has a beautiful musical sense. The entire technical crew showcased patience and persistence in delivering this film with perfection. Peter has delivered a remarkable performance in this movie. Mark my words, he will soon be acclaimed as one of the best comedy actors in the Tamil film industry. The film will definitely impress everyone. Thank you all.”

Producer-Distributor Hari Uthra said: “We are delighted to release Vowels on behalf of Uthra Productions. I take this opportunity to thank Muthu sir. When he screened the film, I strongly felt that it deals with emotions that are much needed for Gen Z youngsters. Today, they are mostly exposed to content with adult and violent elements. This film speaks about emotional essence. Both Yugi Sethu sir and Chinni Jayanth sir are pillars of this movie. I thank my entire team for supporting the film with strong promotional involvement. I wish Yugi Sethu sir continues to collaborate with many filmmakers. I request everyone to watch this movie in theatres.”
