Grand pre release event before the release of Vijay Antony's film 'Nooru Saami'!

The pre-release event for the film 'Nooru Saami', which reunites the directorial duo of Sasi and Vijay Antony, who garnered a unique spotlight in Tamil cinema with the film 'Pichaikkaran', was held in Chennai.

Produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation, the film 'Nooru Saami' directed by Sasi stars Vijay Antony, Suvasika, Ajay Dishan, Lijo Mol Jose, Karunas, Shakti, Kavya Anil, Balaji Sakthivel, Arul Das, Moorthy, Jensen Diwakar and many others. The cinematography of this film is done by S. P. Darshan Kirlos and music is composed by Balaji Sriram. This film, which is being prepared as a feel-good commercial family entertainer, is being produced by producer Fatima Vijay Antony on behalf of Vijay Antony Film Corporation and presented by Meera Vijay Antony.

The event preceding the release of the film 'Nooru Saami', which will be released in theaters worldwide on the 19th, was held at the Kamala Theater in Chennai. The event was attended by leading creators who have made a mark in Tamil cinema, including Vetrimaaran, Pa. Ranjith, A. R. Murugadoss, Saran, Lingusamy, Karthik Subbaraj, Mysskin, Sathish Kumar, Madhan, Mandiramoorthy, V.Z. Durai, Subramania Siva, Nithilan Saminathan, Raju Murugan, producers C. V. Kumar Dhananjayan, music composers S. S. Kumaran, Simon, Sidhu Kumar and many other film industry celebrities.

At this event, Balaji Sriram, who will be making his debut as a music composer through the film 'Nooru Saami', was introduced to the fans by famous music composers Vijay Antony, S.S. Kumaran, Simon, and Sidhu Kumar, who made their debut through the film 'Director Sasi'.

Producer Vijay Antony welcomed all the special guests and thanked them, saying, "I am very happy. I have acted in many films so far. After watching this film, many people have said, 'You have acted well.' I thank director Sasi sir for making me act well. I thank all the directors who have come here to bring this film to the audience."

Music composer Balaji Sriram said, "Thank you to all the legends for introducing me on this stage. One day, director Sasi called me and described a situation and asked me for a score for a song. It was the song 'Amma Amma..'. When I heard the score of that song, Sasi sir liked it. He immediately said that you are the music director for this film. I thank director Sasi sir for believing in me and giving me the opportunity for such a powerful film. The main reason why the music of this film turned out so well is the guidance of director Sasi and Vijay Antony," he said.

Director Vetrimaaran said, "Usually when directors direct a film, the title of the film goes with their name. But only director Sasi gets the name of the respective film. Because he works hard and makes all the films with complete dedication, just like his first film.

We both have one thing in common. We both worked as assistants to director Kathir.

I have seen this film. Just now, they mentioned Sasi sir's film journey. It doesn't seem like the work of someone with so many years of experience. He had the desire to tell it in such an interesting way that it would appeal to today's young generation of audiences, like the work of a new director. This is his uniqueness.

"Generally, actors showcase their talent well in his films. In this film too, all the actors and actresses have showcased their talent wonderfully. I congratulate everyone. I wish this film a huge success," he said.

Director Pa. Ranjith said, "I really liked the film 'Nooru Sami'. I like director Sasi even more.
When I was looking for an opportunity to become an assistant director, Director Sasi was the first person to sit me down and talk to me, share some things and give me hope. At that moment, he asked me a very simple question. I could not answer it immediately. After some time, I met him again and gave him the answer to his question. Then he said, you have a good quality. Keep trying. You will get an opportunity. I have been practicing this lesson I learned from him in my life till today. I personally meet and talk to the assistant directors who come to me for an opportunity and give them hope.

I am a very emotional person. Even small things make me very emotional. While watching the film 'Nooru Saami', I was able to easily connect with the creative work at many places. Actress Swasika has acted wonderfully in this film.

I liked a lot of things that were included in the film. The things discussed in the film still have value today. We still need to discuss it today. There is also an environment where such changes need to be made in society. I hope this film will be compelling and simple enough to reach people from all walks of life. I hope the fans will like it too.

I really enjoyed the 'ceiling fan' scene in this film. I was able to psychologically connect it to an incident in my life.

"Sasi sir has directed many films so far. But he invited me for this film. When he invited me, he said, 'You will like this film. Definitely come.' I also saw the film. It is very good. I wish the film success," he said.

Director A.R. Murugadoss said, "There are many great things in this film. It is a true story that happened in my hometown. My friend Sasi has directed a film based on a true incident. I also thank Vijay Antony for producing and agreeing to act in such a difficult story. When I saw the climax of the film, I was worried that something would go wrong..! But he has created a scene that no one expected and made the film great. There was a tension in the climax.

I was also with Vijay Antony when he introduced him as a music composer. He faced a tough challenge for this. However, I was amazed by his enthusiasm and determination to introduce a technical artist.

Everyone has acted well in this film. Especially Swasika has acted very well. Just like Shobha acted well in Balu Mahendra..! Similarly, Swasika has acted well in this film.

He has acted wonderfully even in small scenes in the song. He has expressed all the sorrows - pain - shame - wonderfully on his face. I know that this year I expect Radhika Madam and Swasika to be the competition.

Sasi became a director before me. Once I told him that I was looking for an opportunity to become a director. Then he assured me, 'Don't be hungry under any circumstances. If there is any crisis.. meet me'. Then a happiness arose in my mind. Whether we ask for help... or not... when someone says that I am ready to help, happiness and hope arise in my mind. If God comes if we call... then there is no need for us to call God. But isn't there a mental happiness that God comes if I call..! If we have the phone number of our Chief Minister.. doesn't it give us courage.. whether I contact him... or not... we have his contact number.. isn't there a happiness that Sasi gave me such happiness..

I was confused about whether to abandon my first film, Deena, after shooting for two days..! I met director Sasi at a function. He congratulated me on becoming a director and told me, "The work on this film will not be done anymore." I told him about the events that were happening at that time and the confusion in my mind. "If you say no to the film, that means failure. Fight. Don't think that you have to make 100 percent of what you thought come out on the screen. Seventy percent is enough. The audience will take care of the rest," he said, giving me hope. It was only after that that I decided to direct that film.

This film talks about many things more than the films of Vetrimaaran and Pa Ranjith, which talk about social justice. There is a difference between men and women in our own homes. There are many things that are easy for a man... but not so easy for women. Sasi has expressed this point wonderfully. This film was very close to my heart. I hope you, the fans, will also like this film."

Director Mysskin said, "Out of the hundred Samis I have seen in my life, Sasi is the only Sami director. There are no Samis in cinema. Very few. Will even ten people be selected..! I doubt it. In my 30 years of cinema experience, Sasi is the only Sami director who contacts me once a month.. meets me in person and talks to me.. hugs me."

If we enter the cinema and what are we going to do... we will win a National Award. We will win ten Filmfare Awards. If not... we will win an Oscar. But one day we will die. But Sasi will never die. He is a Sami.

I met Sasi to join him as an assistant. After talking to him for ten minutes, he said that there was no opportunity right now. Sasi is a man who can observe people closely and see with a motherly touch whether they have any problems.

The thing I find amazing about men is... the femininity that those men have. Society sees men as men. It sees women as women.

Those who have more feminine qualities...! They are all very special. Musicians like Ilayaraja and A.R. Rahman have more feminine qualities. This is why they are the best creators. Sasi is a person with such a great feminine quality and humanity.

After writing and completing the story of this film, he narrated the story to my three assistants. I think his approach comes from his keen observation of human life. After that, we all watched the film. We watched and discussed it. I have a different view on the screenplay of this film. I will discuss it with Sasi separately.

"There is a morality in this film. The men who wrote the rules of this society... the men who wrote the laws of this society... this film tells us how we should take care of the women who are buried on the streets where we live, not dead," he said.

Director Raju Murugan said, "Nowadays, the audio launch of films... mostly starts and ends at Mysskin."

Like everyone else, I also love Sasi sir. The fact that he has been consistently delivering good works for so many years is a great thing. We can take something from all his films. There are a lot of them in this film. I was 'disturbed' for two days after watching this film.

A woman named Sunitha Williams went to space and stayed there for over 680 days. How is our view of women even today... Once upon a time, in a play, a character named Kattiyangaran would appear on stage and criticize women. Then when the print media came out... it became gossip. The view of women there was even worse. With the advent of social media, the view of women has become even worse.

If you upload a video related to fake love... you keep getting negative comments about that woman in the comments. Then I thought, 'There have been too many cultural guards in this country..!' But it is at this moment when there are too many cultural guards that violence against women - sexual assault - is happening every day. In such an environment, the movie 'Nooru Sami' seems to me to be a very important movie.

This is a film for women that men should watch. A film for men that women should watch.

This is an amazing film that is releasing after a long time. Only Sasi can create such characters and tell such a story.

When I think of Vijay Antony's face, the first thing that comes to mind is writing stories for thriller films. But after watching the film 'Nooru Sami', I feel like I can write any story for him. Everyone, including him, has acted so wonderfully in this film. Thanks to Vijay Antony for producing and acting in this film.

"Manushi talking to a fan - sons who can become fathers - Moksha who sows hope during a walk somewhere - a teacher who shares a woman's pain to sew the national flag - Ezhumalai who makes love his daily life - creating so many characters... only Sasi can do it. This film is a great film. It will be a commercial success as well. Congratulations to everyone," he said.

Producer Dhananjayan said, "I knew about the film from the moment it started. Because the friendship with Sasi that started with the film 'Boo' continues even today. Initially, there was a different producer for this film. There was a different actor. The negotiations for it were long. At that moment, he consulted with me. At this moment, Vijay Antony sir was the one who came as a threat to us.

For this, he paid the producer the full amount due. In that sense, the first Sami of this film is Vijay Antony. The whole reason why this film appears on the screen like this is Vijay Antony.
When Vijay spoke to Antony regarding this, he said, "I will do anything for Sasi sir."

I hope actress Swashika gets a National Award this year.

"This is not an art film. It is a purely commercial film. The climax is 20 minutes that the audience will like. In that sense, this film is a successful film. I request everyone to watch it in theaters and celebrate," he said.

Producer C V Kumar said, "Directing films for 30 years in Tamil cinema is not an ordinary thing. It requires a huge effort. In that sense, my congratulations to Sasi sir for directing this film."

"I really like Vijay Antony's music. I like him as an actor even more and I like him as a producer even more. I wish Vijay Antony, who has been consistently delivering success in different fields - different films - new directors - a success with this film as well," he said.

Director Sasi said, "Vijay Antony appears in the second half of this film. After listening to the story of the film, he said, 'Even if I appear in just one scene at the end, it doesn't matter. I will act in this film.'

Nowadays, the hero comes only after 40 minutes of the film's start. That does not affect the success of a film. Similarly, in this film, Vijay Antony comes only in the last 40 minutes. This film will definitely be a successful film. Everyone can freely come to the theater to watch the film 'Nooru Saami' by accepting this promise of mine.

I have two bosses for this film, one is producer Vijay Antony, who believed in this story and invested in it. This boss praised the film after watching it.

My second base is the fans. I am confident that they too will express their appreciation for producer Vijay Antony.

I hope the media will also introduce this film to the fans as a good film.

Where I got this story from... There's a reality show on television. A mother and son participate in that show. The story of the film was born from the story they shared.

A son saw his mother as a god - that beggar.

A son saw his mother as a human being - that's a hundred times better.

I now invite Bhaskar, the real person in this story, to the stage. The story of the film is based on the events that happened in his life.

"After watching this film, everyone will see their mother as a human being," he said.

Producer-actor Vijay Antony said, "There are three turning points in my life. One of them was the opportunity given to me by director Sasi in the film 'Tishyum'. The second turning point was 'Pichaikkaran'. This film is still remembered by the fans. The third turning point was the film that made me a 'lover boy'. I hope that after this I will get lover boy roles."

"Thank you to everyone who worked on this film. All of you fans will love this film. It is a very, very important film for women. A film that can bring about a huge change in society. A very important film for everyone in your home, be it mother, sister, or daughter. This film will never disappoint you," he said.
