Grand Sardar2 audio, trailer launch !

The music and trailer launch of 'Sardar 2', the upcoming film directed by P. S. Mithran and starring Karthi, was held in Chennai. Actor Suriya was the special guest at the event and released the trailer of the film.

"I really liked the trailer of Sardaar 2. I remember it well. When I saw the teaser of the film, there was a fight in the dark. After watching it, I thought it was some international film on Netflix. I didn't know that the teaser of Karthi's 'Sardar 2' was coming out. When I saw it by chance, I was surprised and thought, "Can a film like this be made in Tamil? Is this a Mithran film?"

The story of this film is based on a true incident and is based on real events. Sardar, that's how it happened in India 50 years ago. They have performed and shown it. This is a concept taken from that.

I have been traveling with Prince Pictures for six years. I have been traveling with Karthi for six years. I am the only director who has directed two films with Karthi in a row. So I have a lot to talk about Karthi.

I said something at the audio launch of 'Japan'. Whoever works with Karthi..! He will become a very good director. He will improve your sense of responsibility. That is, if something has come out well..it is not enough for him. Then he will say that he can do better. That is how he kept motivating me throughout this film.

Karthi is one of the reasons why this film has been made with such quality. His trust in me is also a very important reason.

I went to meet SJ Surya with the mindset that he would agree to act in this film. Because I knew to some extent what his expectations were. I didn't tell him the story as a director. I told him the story as SJ Surya.

I learned from him that one should be clear about any matter. He would fight hard to make sure that the fans understand whatever he said... and like it... It was not an ordinary matter. In his excitement, he would send me a 17-minute audio of his speech on WhatsApp. So SJ Surya's motivation was also one of the reasons why this film became a huge success.

I told Ashika Ranganath today that she wants to act like the Gen Z generation. After choosing the costume for that, she happily said, "First, I will act in a costume that is comfortable for me." After watching the film 'Dhangalan' starring Malavika, I thought that they would perform terrifically in the action scenes, so I trusted them and filmed the action scenes on the first day of shooting when they would participate. When they participated in the first day of shooting, I explained the action scenes to them. I said that they would have to fall from a height of 60.. 70.. feet. They hesitated. After that, they gave their full cooperation.

"I first went to a studio in Vadapalani Kumaran Colony, Chennai to sing. But the people there made me wait for seven hours and then rejected me saying I didn't have a good voice. I was interested in music at that time. But I wanted to sing. Even after that, many rejections... humiliations... continued.

As I stand on stage composing music for my hundredth film, my journey has been long. It has been very sad. But with the support of God and the people, I believe I have achieved some measure of success in music.

I am proud that Karthi has acted in my 100th film. I always like to work with knowledgeable directors. I am especially happy when I work with someone like Mithran who has a lot of knowledge about music. Mithran knows the ragas in music very well. I will try something new to impress people like him. Mithran is my friend. However, it was great to work with him. Mithran is my favorite director among the directors I have worked with.

I have worked with many senior star artists in this film. I call Yogi Babu 'Murugha'. He also calls me 'Murugha Muruga'. If you give him a scene... he works hard to design that scene well. After that, that scene becomes very good. He has writing skills. He also has the desire to be a good producer. He also has the desire to get a good name as a director. Since he has so many things... he never fails. I have been amazed many times by his hard work.

The director had romantic scenes in the first part of Sardaar. I expected the romantic scenes in the second part of Sardaar to be grand. As soon as I heard that the heroine is Malavika Mohanan... she looked like our hometown Monica Bellucci. I expected her to be given a terrible costume... and there would be scenes with her for the fans to enjoy. When I asked the director about this, he explained, 'She is not like my Sara character'. Because Sara's character in the film is good for me.

Ashika Ranganath- A very talented dancer. But we have made her run too much in this film. She is a star material. A commercial heroine. The director has brought her in and tried to make her a great actress in this film.
