Heroine Hansika  showed that she is capable of handling all these in equal measure during the shoot of her film Maha.  Focussing on a women-centric plot the story revolves around the leading lady who  needed to shoot a stunt sequence, which was filmed on Monday.  This intense sequence required the actress to go hard on the floor with a somersault, which was mistimed and ended with an  injury. The swift first aid and support from the team helped her recover sooner.  Even after the repeated advice to take rest, Hansika politely refused   and hit the shoot for shots that didnt need any hand movement to complete  the sequence. Maha is the 50th film of Hansika and her first stunt film. It is directed by U R Jameel and produced by Etcetera Entertainment.  ...

The film is the 20th production of AGS and the makers are going all out to make it thier biggest production. The music is by AR Rahman, his  3rd project with the Atlee- Vijay combo  after superhits Mersal and Sarkar. Atlee is directing supported by  an ace technical team. Antony Ruben edits while  GK Vishnu handles the camera.  Stunts are by Anal Arasu and lyrics by Vivek. In a press release, AGS has promised that the film will be a 'pakka mass' entertainer. Produced by SNS  Movies the film is directed by Babu Yogeswaran. RD Rajsekar cranks the camera. The film is special to director Mohan Raja as well. For it marks the screen debut of his young son master Pranav Mohan. The first shot of the film involving master Pranav in a scene with Vijay Antony was canned yesterday in the presence of Ilayaraja and industry veterans. An ecstatic Mohan Raja tweeted about the memorable moment and thanked Vijay Antony and all his well -wishers who congratulated him. Earlier his brother Jayam Ravi 's son Arav also had a small role in a movie  Tik Tik. Looks like renowned Editor Mohan's family is taking his cinematic legacy to the third generation as well.
